What can I do for my wife on her birthday?

I%26#039;m looking for some ideas on what to do for my wife on her birthday which is this coming Saturday. There are a few things I%26#039;ve planned so far such as purchased an item that she wanted, baking her favorite cookies, sending her flowers at work Friday, etc. I would really like to do some special things in addition for her to show her how much I love and appreciate her. Thank you!

What can I do for my wife on her birthday?
So far, you are on a great start. Everything you have listed above is a great gift in itself. However since you asked, this is only what I would like as a woman from my man on my birthday to make me feel special, loved and appreciated. I hope this helps. Great job so far!!

Where did you go or do on your wedding night? Try to recreate or add to that night. Maybe get her something similar to what she wore while you were on honeymoon. If you are doing a party Saturday, is there any family or friend she has not seen in awhile that she has said or hinted around to missing or wanting to see? Remember your first date...relive it. Is there something she has been wanting for a while that you just could not get it for her for some reason or another? Get her a day spa package for just her or maybe her and a friend (you?). Do you have any old pictures of you two while you were dating---if you do then make a book (be creative) just to show her you still think about those times. Then you can say something about each picture like what you were doing or where you were. I bet she will be so amazed that you remember and who knows, she may not remember some of it. What a hold on her you would have? Plus that will show her you really put some thought into it besides buying something. Which is nice but now she has a personal gift that is priceless.

As I said before you sound like you really have it going on without our help. Good luck and have fun!!
Reply:You get kudos for sending flowers to work on Friday. There are a lot of men who just don%26#039;t get the importance of flowers in the work place. Every woman should have their office mates oohing and aahing over their Wonderful Husband who sent those Beautiful flowers!

Take her somewhere she%26#039;s been wanting to go, whether it%26#039;s a weekend getaway, or to the theater, amusement park, concert, sporting event, on a picnic, to the beach, whatever she likes. My son-in-law recently got passes to take his wife to feed the giraffes at the San Diego Zoo... she was THRILLED. Think hard on the types of stuff she really likes or wants to do... and fulfill a dream.

Good luck, and happy birthday to your wife!
Reply:You%26#039;re sweet. It%26#039;s wonderful that you care for your wife.

I don%26#039;t know what she likes; so it%26#039;s kind of hard.

Maybe a candlelight dinner for two; but you don%26#039;t have to do it all - just order food or get some of her favorite dishes from gourmet grocer. Set the table and have the music ready for the night; rent the movie and just stay in and enjoy each other. On the other hand, if she likes going out, take her to her favorite restaurant; get a gift certificate for a day at a spa. They do run special package (manicure/pedicure and facial or massage). And yes, serve her breakfast in bed.

I hope she enjoys it.
Reply:Every day leading up to her birthday, you could give her something that is part of a larger something that you give to her on her big day. For example, if she had a love of animals, you might give her a card today with snoopy on it. Tomorrow, you might give her a cookie jar in the shape of a dog, filled with her favorite cookies. The next day, you might give her a silly movie about a dog - such as Beethoven, leading up to her birthday, when you get her a gift certificate to pick out a puppy.

If she was into cooking --- then give her some chopsticks for her her hair; the next, a yin and yang symbol, the next take her out for chinese, and on her birthday give her a wok. or vice versa.

Think outside the box! she%26#039;ll appreciate it!
Reply:Wow, you are doing a lot already. The cookies, flowers, the item you purchased....sounds perfect to me!
Reply:I know it%26#039;s cliche, but you should be doing those things to show her you appreciate her every week, not just on her birthday!

My perfect birthday would be tickets to a concert. Like if the weather was beautiful, a concert at an outdoor venue and a picnic.
Reply:hey you want to really do something nice for her...ask her what she wants..dont do what you think is best for her...what she wants??after all its her big day.....maybe she wants to spend the day with you??or go see her parents?who knows..
