So I've been dating this woman for about a month or so. Took her out to eat for her birthday Friday night?

(her birthday was Saturday, but she had family stuff goin on and a %26#039;girls%26#039; night out%26#039; planned that night). Card, flowers..even a chew toy for her dog. So I call her Saturday afternoon to wish her a happy birthday. It was a very short conversation because she%26#039;d just gotten to her parents%26#039; house. Said %26quot;I%26#039;ll call you later%26quot;, but never heard from her the rest of the night. Should I be concerned that she didn%26#039;t follow through?

All I know is that if I really like someone, I%26#039;m going to call them regardless. However, she may have lost track of time, went out with the girls ( as we do) and it may have been too late to call you. You seem like a thoughtful guy. Just see if she calls tomorrow, she may be hungover (if she drinks) If she doesn%26#039;t call, then call her. If you get no response, then I would wait a few days, if no call then, well perhaps she feels you%26#039;re not that serious.

She%26#039;s having fun with her girls and if her family is like mine, they don%26#039;t allow phones to be used during dinner time.

Wait and see if she calls tomorrow. If not, give her a call tomorrow afternoon or evening and ask how her night was. I%26#039;m sure everything%26#039;s fine!

Reply:No she had family stuff planned and then a girls night out. She probably didn%26#039;t get in until late and figured it was too late to call you. If I didn%26#039;t hear from her today, Sunday, I would be concerned. It will probably be in the afternoon though.
