I need to get my boyfriend a present for his 26th birthday...?

We%26#039;ve been dating for 7 months, and we%26#039;re so in love. But the present is also so very much a problem. I had the wonderful idea of getting him and myself tickets to see a broadway show I%26#039;ve seen and know he would love - Avenue Q. But -- whenever he talks about birthday presents, he emphasizes that they should be practical -- so I have this other idea of getting him an mp3 player (Zune) which he doesn%26#039;t have.

But for Valentines Day, all he got me was flowers - not a thoughtful gift, nor a very expensive one. He does spend a lot of money on me in general though, so I have no hesitation I should spend a good deal on his present.

I%26#039;m really torn as to which present to choose. If it helps, he%26#039;s a really smart computer programmer. Help!!!

I need to get my boyfriend a present for his 26th birthday...?
You should get the mp3 player and a hookup that allows it to play in the car. Plug it in, but have the player wrapped and tell him that you%26#039;re taking ihm out to dinner. When he gets in the car, it will be on his seat and whn he opens it, only Avenue Q songs will be on it, then give him tickets to the show. So you guys can listen to the songs on the way to the show- then he%26#039;ll have the mp3 as well.

Avenue Q is pretty spectacular and shouldn%26#039;t be missed if it%26#039;s convenient for you.
Reply:As for Valentine%26#039;s Day, men do get the images that they should buy us flowers, chocolate, or lingerie, or, if they are big spenders, jewelry. If he spends a lot of money in general, perhaps you can excuse his lack of originality in this case because Valentine%26#039;s Day is such a commercialized holiday? Also know, too, that men aren%26#039;t always good at knowing what we want as far as gifts are concerned - they are especially prey to what the marketers tell them to buy!

To choose -HIS- birthday gift, I would recommend purchasing a practical gift since that was what he requested.

And, in the future, if he asks you what you want for -YOUR- presents, be clear whenever possible. (Men%26#039;s minds simply aren%26#039;t like ours - they do need some help!)
Reply:If you%26#039;re looking for a fun and romantic gift for your boyfriend, I think that these personalized soaps from http://www.soapcard.com are a great solution. they make soaps with your photo or just message embedded inside. My boyfriend thought it was super cute! .the %26quot;Think of me when you%26#039;re feeling dirty%26quot; soap was the one he loved the most
Reply:A nice watch might be a good idea. It%26#039;s personal and practical at the same time, and watches are available in a variety of price ranges.
Reply:MP3 player sounds like an EXCELLENT idea!
Reply:I got an idea give him you in something sexy, and an romance dinner also a dark room and candles.
