I need a great gift for my wife for her birthday!?

My wife will be turning 23 on May 20th. I am looking for a great idea for a birthday present or what some of you women got lately that blew you away or what you men gave your women that blew them away. Additional information : My wife had our son a month ago today. She really isn%26#039;t the flowers and chocolates kind of girl. Also, nothing too expensive...having a baby really drained our savings. Thanks in advance for the help!

I need a great gift for my wife for her birthday!?
Give her a locket with you and your baby%26#039;s pics inside.
Reply:My wife would like a dinner cooked at home of her favorite food served like a fine resteraunt, best china, table cloth, candles (cloth, candles, and even wine not from house but bought speical. She would also like while we eat for violinist and maybe another instrument to play, two in unison. Well it%26#039;s a lot but she woudl like it. You take her out whereever is simple and have friends and family set up the house so when you arrive you simply ring the door bell and the violinist will open the door and you and your wife will eat with the food already on the table read to eat. I recommend a 5-7 course meal.

In the bed room before you leave the house with her have her go firt, then set a anniversary card there, and place some rose petals (buy ahead of time and hide in bed room) on the bed quickly, then head out the door with her.

Once you return home puposly stay with her and do not leave her site during dinner, music and dancing. Then follow her into the bedroom so as soon as she enter, you can turn her around and kiss her and wish her a happy birthday.

Best luck.
Reply:okay cool gift idea all you need is a digital camera and a picture frame! If you live near the ocean or a lake ...write %26quot;I love you%26quot; in the sand and laid down behind it in a cute pose and put it in a simple frame. If you do not live near the beach or a lake with sandy area you could do it in front of a pretty tree with a green poster board and white writing that says I love you laying it on the ground in front of you. And then do the same with baby in picture not you! get a frame with two picture holders and frame them! date the back of the picture frame and write a personal message on back of the frame with a sharpie or paint pen you can get at wal-mart too!good luck
Reply:Have you seen the Willow Tree angels/statues? My husband got me one for Valentine%26#039;s Day and had it inscribed to me with %26quot;I will always love you%26quot; on it, with our names. It was the most touching gift I have ever gotten. They make them for all occasions. The one he got me had a couple embracing, but they also have them for families, and ones with a mother and child. It would be beautiful to get one on those with your son%26#039;s name and birthdate inscribed.
Reply:How about a piece of jewelry ,something with your new baby%26#039;s birth stone. Silver is the popular metal and not expensive. It would be a gift she would always remember. I would! Go to one of the TV shopping channels, they have everything. You can go on their web sites and they will even rush deliver it for you. Happy Birthday to the new mommy. And Daddy too!
Reply:Here are some articles that have some really great ideas - they are written for Mother%26#039;s Day gifts, but of course they would be perfect birthday gifts too!!!!! Here they are:

I hope this helps you!!!!!!! I like the photo bracelet the best. There are several inexpensive ideas there too. Have a great day :)
Reply:How about a gift certificate to a Spa. Offer to take care of your son while she goes to enjoy her quiet time being pampered. We women LOVE that! You can just make it for a dollar amount, and she can pick what she wants to have done.

Trust me..., she will love it and will be a revived young woman when she comes home.

Reply:Something I did for my husband that I would love if he did for me and would make me feel really special is took a glass box and made it look way cool by painting it (it had wood trim) and some other fancy stuff and cut out 100 paper hearts and different shapes and on each one wrote a reason why I loved him and put it in the box with a letter.
Reply:Make a scrap book starting with pics of her as a baby adn growing up then some of you two, then some with the baby and you all together. Leave half blank for future pictures.
