Girlfriend didn't get me anything for my birthday or valentines?

My birthday was just a few days before valentines and my girlfriend didn%26#039;t give me anything for either of those days, and I surprised her with flowers and balloons on valentines. I haven%26#039;t said anything to her because I don%26#039;t want to sound selfish I%26#039;m not trying to be greedy or anything, but should I be bugged about this and should I say something to her what should I say?

No, it%26#039;s perfectly alright that it bothers you.As someone else said, if she was incapable, financially, then it is understandable, but there are plenty of homemade items that get the point across, or at least an %26quot;I%26#039;m sorry, but..%26quot; Just politely bring it up, and ask, %26quot;so, what happened there?%26quot; Try to keep from sounding angry or anything, and if she cares, she%26#039;ll understand why you%26#039;re worried. If, however, she gets upset at you for it, in any way, as far as I can think, then there may be a serious problem in the relationship.

Reply:Well, a few things Im wondering here, does she have money %26amp; a job to buy you something? I can see if maybe she was broke or something, but even when Ive been short on cash I would at least apologize for the lack of a gift %26amp; try to get creative with something to replace it. How long have you been dating?? If its been a short time, then maybe she felt awkward about getting you something too soon. If neither of those apply then perhaps she was thinking that you werent going to get her anything or celebrate valentines day since alot of men think its a hallmark holiday. If it really bothers you, find a way to casually mention it without putting blame or pressure to get to the bottom of it. Good luck!

Valentines I don%26#039;t think is much of a big deal. In my personal opinion I think it%26#039;s all about the women on that day, but that%26#039;s just me.


but you%26#039;re birthday gosh, umm I don%26#039;t think you%26#039;re being selfish, cause i%26#039;m sure it%26#039;s not the actual thought of gettin%26#039; a materlistic gift, it%26#039;s just the thought of her not even giving you one.
