What should I buy for my younger sister's upcoming birthday?

She's one of those modern types and I know she's expecting something cool... But right now all I can think of is a pink skirt with laced frills and emerald flowers lining the brim...oh! and she's 14!

What should I buy for my younger sister's upcoming birthday?
Wow, no wait ,.......

No maybe it was the fart Q you asked before....

What gift can I buy my wife for her 37th birthday this coming August?

Looking for unique ideas, that won't make me have to take out a huge loan or second mortgage to pay for. Not looking for flowers, jewelry, makeup, clothes, or PJ's, lingere, lotions or perfumes. Something unique. Something that shows I put some thought into it, or at least took the time to ask some one or research it on Yahoo! Answers....LOL. Best answer gets the points. I want her to open the gift and know it is special and that I love her and that she is still beautiful, fun and sexy to me. Does such a gift exist? A gift that says it all?

What gift can I buy my wife for her 37th birthday this coming August?
Write or type up some personal coupons for evenings out, foot rubs, back rubs, bubble baths, hanky panky, etc.
Reply:If you don't have time to make the coupons, you might find some in Hallmark or Spencer Gifts. But handmade ones are more personal of course. :) Enjoy! Report It

Reply:a digital camera
Reply:oooh make her something. i would love that! go to www.lovingyou.com for some pretty unique ideas. i made my boyfriend something from there and he freaken loved it!
Reply:Taking a guess you have children. Gather up all the pictures of your children. From small to now. Take them and have them put on a cd like a movie. they can edit this for you. If no children of yourself. This is something you both will enjoy. If you really want to let her know she is special that brings tears to my wifes eyes or voice get real sexy sounding. Send her flowers like today when there is no special occassion. It gets them everytime. Good luck i have been married 26 years
Reply:flowers,jewlrey,chocolates(cant go wrong with them!!!)
Reply:this is unique though i'm not sure it says all that. http://cgi.ebay.com/Aquamarine-Glycerin-...
Reply:If you're able to afford a weekend getaway that's always nice or you could get a nice bottle of wind and go for a nice walk on the beach. Pay attention and see if she's speaking on anything particular that's not expensive, We do know how to throw hint's.

Thirty-seven is not a big deal to us (woman) it's the FORTIETH that matter's!
Reply:Find a unique quiet place with a bed and breakfast..Sit and let her know how special she is..If possible go for a walk hand in hand. That romantic setting with dinner maybe some wine..just a hand written poem about her will be the best gift she could get.
Reply:A spa package is something she will love. Whether she works in the home with kids or in an office/retail. A spa package always does the trick to rejuvenate oneself. Who doesn't love a great body/foot massage.

Good Luck!
Reply:a teddy bear holding a heart...

no - just kidding

Photographs are always wonderful keepsakes. Why don't you find a cool photographer to takes some photos of you two - outdoor settings are very nice. Then you can frame them and grace your home and office with them.
Reply:maybe u could get a day at the spa and hang out on the beach then u could take her to a hotel and light some candles, make a nice dinner, and put a few rose pettles on the bed to make it look nice...it doesn't have to be expensive.oh one more thang if u do this to make it more romantic u could blind fold her before u get into the room.
Reply:I think you should surprise her, maybe a weekend get away at a nice hotel or casino hotel. Or even if you have a beach or some lake front cabins that you can rent....something you've never did before.....and that she would totally freak out to. Take care of everything before hand......have her already packed.....and when she comes home (assuming that she works), make her get in the car and go. I also llke the idea of a bed and breakfast that was mentioned earlier. Best of luck to you and have a great time.......
Reply:Look into a hot air balloon ride. They always end with a champagne brunch. That is what I did for my husbands 30th. He loved it and it was something we shared together. Picture it.... A romantic night in a bed and breakfast, wake up early for the balloon ride, champagne brunch... You are her romantic hero!!
Reply:You could make her a scrapbook - with pictures and momentoes of special places you have gone togther or times that were special to her. Leave the last few pages blank so it can be added to with new memories.
Reply:I second the suggestion for a B%26amp;B or spa. I took my wife to Hawaii last year for her birthday. As far as other ideas, consider books (does she like to cook, garden, etc) or movies DVD collection?

Another option: a family photo session at one of your local photo shops, so you have a holiday card photo for December.

Another option: offer to go together to pick out new home linens or something else that she's been grumbling about. If you do something like this, you can also follow up with a surprise small gift and dinner on the birthday.

My wife doesn't care about the surprise factor and in fact she will often suggest the birthday gift to me, but the key piece is picking it out either on your own or together.

good luck!
Reply:A nice weekend getaway to a bed and breakfast place would be nice.
Reply:hahaha i was gonna say same thing, dildo. how about a erotic lingerie :D

here are list what u can buy for her:

* expensive women perfume

* expensive dress

* jewelllery, maybe gold neckalace with ur both name on it :)

* Xbox 360

I like something I can show others.....my husband got me this...

Maybe I romantic trip for 2 would be best..where she has always wanted to go? Some women drop clues......listen....

My husband got me a first digital camera and nikon..it is great...
Reply:your probably not going to like this but have her set and you do all the house work and everything for her then that night take her out to a really nice restaurant that will sweep her off of her feet
Reply:Day Spa! Full package, hair cut, manacure, pedicure, 45 min massage, facial, brand new terry bathrobe and flip flop slippers (saw some really soft ones at JC Penny's in accessories) Have them do a total make over with make up and a new outfit. After her day of pampering take her out for a quiet picnic dinner.
Reply:Give her your heart. a glass rose and tell her my love this is a very special day for the both of us, because it's your birthday this glass rose will never die. this rose is fell with the love I have inside of my heart for you ,ever lasting love happy birthday my angel. and then kiss her and make hot sweet love to her in the tub
Reply:take her somewhere that she would enjoy, or make her a dinner with candles on the table, something that says that you appreciate how much work she does. take her away for a weekend, it doesnt have to be somewhere expensive just somewhere romantic. where did you go for your first date or a special date that you had together. also send your mother in law a thank you card forgiving you such a special gift of your wife.
Reply:A beautiful small box, with a heartfelt love letter inside telling her how much you care about and appreciate her.
Reply:Get her boudoir photography. This is when you get sexy pictures taken of her. I think a weekend getaway to a romantic hotel would be good. Or a cruise. A day at the spa. A pedicure or manicure.
Reply:Is she into reading? I love books and would be VERY happy if my husband thought enough about it to find out what I like to read without my knowledge. Also find it very sexy to see him in the kitchen doing almost anything to help!
Reply:Why don't you ask her? The best gifts are something that the person wants.
Reply:give her you. do a little strip tease dance with some sexy music start out with a dinner you cooked and finish up with you being dessert. if youve never done anything like this before she will appreciate it...
Reply:My husband surprised me by booking a dinner cruise! He kept it a complete secret, did all the planning himself, drove up to the dock and said "lets go honey" - it was so romantic, and so unexpected. If you're not near water..... they also have nice dinner trains. It was a perfect gift, from the heart, and I'll never forget it. Good luck! You're a special guy to give it such thought.
Reply:You can buy her a star and name it after her. The star registry does it, it's pretty cool, my wife loved it. Their website might be star registry.com if not just do a search for it.
Reply:my husband gave me for my birthday a calendar with our pictures from the first day we met till now. He made it himself in PowerPoint! and it was the most special present i got so far- it showed me not only how much he cares, but also what a creative person he is! You can also add little quotes to each month- describing what you like the most about her!

What should I get my sister in law for her birthday.?

She's going to be 37. We usually get her flowers, but I like get get her something more fun. I'd like to spend about $50. She likes to entertain, hike/bike and garden.

What should I get my sister in law for her birthday.?
Well if she likes to entertain you can find many entertainment geared things for reasonable prices. This could include platters, a punch bowl, napkins, or basically anything for the the table or entertaining would be good. www.overstock.com has great prices so you really should be able to find something for a reasonable price there. Also, if there is a Belk Department store in your area they have great prices on things like that.
Reply:If she has a computer then an MP3 player is great for hiking and biking
Reply:nothing matches like cash gift-give cash
Reply:Get her a watch or a hiking suit!!
Reply:Get her something she "likes" by giving her $50 gift-card.

What should I get my mother-in-law for her birthday?

She's been really great to me over the last year, since my own mother %26amp; I fell out! I just want to repay her for everything she's done for me. Can anyone suggest anything other than the usual, perfume, flowers, chocolates, etc.....? I want it to be different %26amp; special.

What should I get my mother-in-law for her birthday?
Your mother-in-law is lucky to have you in her life. Speaking as a mom, to me the best gift is the gift of time with my family. I like the "queen for the day" idea. Make her a special meal at her home or yours. Use that good china and silver and candles that we never seem to get out. Make it a nice leisurely meal. So what if the dishes stack up in the kitchen for a little longer. Let her relax and you can do them later. Make her feel important.

Have flowers on the table and don't forget the birthday cake. Maybe a small gift and a wonderful card with your thoughts handwritten. If you feel compelled to still get a nice gift, a heart locket would be nice.

You are very thoughtful.
Reply:Tickets to a terrific show--one for her and one for you, and take her out to dinner after. I suggest Wicked if it's playing near you. It has great themes of friendship and being strong with your sisters.

If that's too pricey, consider choosing something she'd like from www.personalizationmall.com. I love their stuff (very good quality) and you can pick something that's unique for her that she can think of you every time she sees it.
Reply:Gift certificate to a spa for a pamper day with a massage, pedicure, etc. She'll love it.
Reply:Gift Certificates to her flavor department store.
Reply:A day at a local Spa. She will be pampered and feel good for it.

My friends daughter died a few years ago and her birthday is close by. Would it be appropriate ....?

for me to send a card......or flowers.....or just leave her to her private memories. It is still so incredibly raw and I dont want to contribute to setting her back into the depression she suffered at that time. Its an incredibly sensitive time and I dont know what to do. Any suggestions?

My friends daughter died a few years ago and her birthday is close by. Would it be appropriate ....?
A sympathetic card with your heart felt feelings would not be amiss.

Keep it short but with your true fellings for your friend.
Reply:I think it depends on the family - maybe talk to her other friends and you could just send one simple bouquet of flowers together, just to let her know you were thinking about her. Then it doesn't look too much. Cards are always a bit tricky to pick and write.

Hope it all works out ok x
Reply:Take your freind some flowers, say the day before. A card might upset her more than you think.
Reply:mbe call round on d day. see if she is coping alright.
Reply:No card, but maybe a small bouquet of flowers. Thats what people would do for my grandmother.
Reply:Having lost close family members myself, I would say tht it would be very kind to send a note indicating that you remember and cherish the memories of your friend's daughter. Sometimes the hardest part of grieving is thinking that your loved one has been forgotten. I think you should consider sending a note saying that you know that this might be a difficult day for your friend, but that you hope she will be comforted by the wonderful memories of her daughter and the fact that she has friends who care and remember her loss.
Reply:i wouldn't send flowers or cards aimed towards the daughter's birthday, but i would send them to the friend with a note telling her that you're thinking about her on what must be a terribly hard day. remind her that you're there for her and if she doesn't acknowlege them then that's ok too.. she might be too shell shocked..
Reply:My sister lost her 13 year old son 14 years ago %26amp; all family %26amp; close friends send flowers to mark his birthday, and the day he died - she finds comfort to know that everybody is thinking of him. I don't know if it may be too soon for your friend, but feel that she couldn't be offended at what would be a heartfelt gesture on your part. Hope you find the right decision, (and rest in peace Anthony).
Reply:I feel that pretending it did not happen is the worse thing you can do!

How many people walk past a widow/widower or hide rather than 'upset' them by asking how they are coping?

NOTHING would upset me more than a death of my loved one! I would love to know that they were NOT forgotten by everyone but me.

In our culture we EXPECT people to get over death and fast!

I feel that you are a wonderful friend and you know your Friend better than any of us here do!

If it was me I would be VERY pleased with your kind gesture.
Reply:How about calling round at your friend's house personally with a bunch of flowers just to re-assure her that you are her friend and still care about her and will be there for her should she want to talk to some-one about her feelings regarding the loss of her daughter. Sometimes, it takes people a long period of time to be able to talk about a very close loss. Whilst you are there, what about suggesting you meet up for coffee and have an hour shopping together ?
Reply:I say you should leave it alone, it is good that you do care, and some friends don't have that big of a heart, but I think you should ask her if she wants to talk to you about anything, maybe memories or anything.
Reply:i like the idea of anonymous flowers, something small and tasteful, and delicate.
Reply:if they are not gonna do anything for her birthday like buy a present you should contribute at all NO no
Reply:Why not give her a call on that day or the evening before to let her know you're thinking about her? Maybe you could take her to lunch or invite her over to give her a chance to celebrate the day quietly - whatever she wants. No, don't leave her alone. At the very least, let her know you're there.
Reply:Maybe send a card saying "thinking of you and always here for you".

I'm sure she'd appreciate that you cared enough to think of her on that particular sad day.
Reply:i think that you should buy flowers and take them to her grave.. i mean if you really care... but not sure how they will react them do something special and nice by taking them to her grave.

Does anyone have any suggestions for souvenirs for a 70th birthday party?

My mother is throwing my grandma a party and is stumped for a souvenir idea. She likes the color yellow and flowers, which is how i'm decorating the cake. Any ideas?

Does anyone have any suggestions for souvenirs for a 70th birthday party?
you can get colored tulle (light netting) in the fabric department its not expensive and then cut it in squares and make little saches filled with potpurri..tie off with some yellow fabric ribbon (also fairly inexpensive at craft/fabric stores) Maybe attach a photo or little thank you tag to each sache. Its not a very expensive souvenir but smells great and could be used in drawers or wheverver to make things smell nice.
Reply:Check out the photo department at Walmart.com! Take your favorite pic and have it made into all kinds of cool stuff. Walmart is the cheapest I've found so far for calendars, pillows, aprons, bags, etc.

If you're looking for something cheaper, go to Walmart (again, the cheapest!) and buy the special photo transfer sheets in the craft department. This stuff is made of fabric that you can run through your computer and is machine washable. Don't confuse it with photo canvas! Print your pics onto that and then applique them onto small, cloth gift bags filled with whatever you like. Fabric gift bags are really easy to make.

Transfer fabric costs about $6.00 for 6 sheets. Make sure you buy the washable FABRIC transfers! This is a cool product and can be used to make quilts with, too. You can't wash them with soap, though. Have to use fabric softener!
Reply:a photo album filled with memories
Reply:A yellow rose....
Reply:depends, what about taking a picture of her and her friends and putting it in a frame, and in a gift bag
Reply:you can get hats that says over the hill! FUNN!

Ladies, what would y'all like to have for ya birthday?

Jewelry, Shoes, Victoria's Secrets, Firearms, Dogs, flowers or what?

What y'all like the most?

Ladies, what would y'all like to have for ya birthday?
Jewelry is the best for me.

Shoes I am too picky, so that would be too hard.

Also, a new Louis Vuitton purse is always nice if you are really generous!

And who can resist a new AK47??

But most of all, I like to be taken out to a nice dinner or night on the town. That is the best gift.
Reply:Well, later in life, I'd probably like either Jewlery, or Victoria's Secret. [Damn comfortable bras!] But this year, I'd like one chance to talk to the guy I have a crush on. I never get a chance, or I get nervous and back out.
Reply:Victoria's Secret, and YOU! :-)
Reply:A day at the spa!
Reply:well, if I was your girl, I would want jewelry! A neclace or bracelet in particular, with roses (plenty of them), dinner. Something simple but expensive ;)
Reply:Wine me and dine me that's all I want .
Reply:WELL....since you asked.....lol... some good sex isnt a bad idea for my birthday....
Reply:depending on the age. im sure most girls like to buy their underwear on their own. dogs, are a big step, and maybe shes not ready, or doesnt want the responsiblity, flowers are so traditional and die way to fast. Shoes maybe, but its hard to kno if they will really fit, because every shoe is different, and if she even likes them, Jewelry is cute but still kind of traditional, get her a teddy bear and put like a braclette or watch on the teddy bears wrist. thats cute. :) * .......... or you can always go on the interenet and get a star named after her. super cute. just look it up, my friend did that before. HOME THAT HELPED.*
Reply:depends on who's giving it to me!

Jewelry is always nice though
Reply:I would love to be completely pampered. It would start with my hubby taking me out for breakfast, from there we would go shopping for a couple of hours, from there we would go to lunch, from there I could get a massage and a pedicure and from there it would be a romantic dinner, followed by a movie after the movie we could go home and he would surprise me with a bouquet of roses and a sterling silver neclace with a big heart on it. Then he would get a nice surprise *( all night long)*

My soon-to-be-9 year old little sister's birthday is coming up. What should I give her??

She likes horses, pink, flowers, fairies, painting, and cooking. I want to MAKE her something instead of buying it. Any ideas?

My soon-to-be-9 year old little sister's birthday is coming up. What should I give her??
You should draw her a story book full of pink faeries who cook and paint and ride magical horses!
Reply:does she have a cell? You could gt her a cheap one.
Reply:How about taking a normal textbook, and writing on it: (Name's) Diary. Then just take a jewlery box, and paint Horses, Flowers, Fairies on it, and put the diary inside.
Reply:Just ask her what she likes. And if you know what she likes, for example shopping buy her an outfit. And make sure shes not suspicious
Reply:make it then make it from your heart!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Go to a craft store and buy a ceramic flower pot, paint it and plant some flowers in it for her. Or you could get a horse statue (one that hasn't been painted - - at the craft store or any store that has a craft section) and paint that for her.
Reply:Gift her the following list: -

1. A giant box of Chocolates

2. A huge case of Make-Up kit (give her your own)

3. 50 brand new best selected dresses in the state or country

4. A great kiss

5. A king size chocolate cake for her birthday

6. Last but not the least, to let her stay in your room for 9 days.
Reply:mace , to keep freaks away, I have 3 kids and I worry everyday with all the freaks out there. But for real like above anything from the heart. At nine I think she would like jewelry and doesnt have to be expensive
Reply:make her a fun bday cake for a start
Reply:Why don't you make her a paint by number set? All it would cost would be for the paint. Draw one of the items you think she would like, number it accordingly. Ta-da! Add some glitter spray to go with it so she can really dress it up.
Reply:give her a PSP or some money
Reply:Do you have a friend or family member who owns a pottery wheel? Do you have a pottery studio in your town? You could make your sister a fairy sculpture and glaze it.
Reply:make her a painting with pink horses and fairies cooking in a field of flowers...she will like that...
Reply:go 2 micheals craft store. buy the big letters of wood that could b painted. bye all the letters of her name. paint them pink. then get a magazine n cut out pictures (little so they fit on the letters)of flowers, and horses then glue them on. u can also draw and paint a paint brush on them with a chefs hat . that will look cute and she can put it on her wall in her room
Reply:maybe u have to buy her something too. i mean that it's nice to make her something , but it would be cool if u get her something like high-quality paints, nice flowers .. etc .

Why dont u cook something special to her? that would be nice too
Reply:Cooking-An Easy Bake Oven (expensive.)

Painting-An easel and paint brushes+paint or crayons/markers (expensive.) Or a coloring book/paint by numbers kit (cheap.)

Fairies-A fairy doll or book about fairies.

Pink-I'm sure all most all little girl toys will be pink. =)

Horses-A stuffed horse or plastic horse figurine. Or (expensive) a rocking horse.
Reply:Well if you DO buy her something, go Polly Pockets or Bratz. I'd go look around Michael's for a craft that you think she'd really like. That place is full of ideas!
Reply:Paint and decorate a picture frame or a mirror with silk flowers, rinestones, etc. I really like a product called Foamies. These are foam letters that you peel and stick. They also come in lots of different shapes: hearts, bugs, flowers, etc. A small bucket usually costs like $4.00 and you can give her the leftovers and she can decorate whatever she wants.
Reply:make her a coupon book of activities you guys could do together....like free for one afternoon of baking cookies etc...

or...you can get a craft book and make her homemade paper and paints

What would be a creative present for my friends birthday?

She's 18 and I would like to buy her something different, cute, interesting. Do you have any ideas? I don't want clothes, flowers, necklaces or anything obvious and I'm going to give her a card so that's not good either. Thanks!

What would be a creative present for my friends birthday?

Reply:ART..are there any bizarre type shops in your area? IF you are artistic, go to art.com and look up some ideas from other artists. My favorite is Natasha Wescoat. If not, go to urbanoutfitters.com, and go look in the "entertainment"

today's my friend's 18th.

one year, we had just seen monty python and the holy grail. she went out and bought a coconut. then she drained all the milk from it, cut it in half, and scraped everything out for days! then she stuck the two halves in a box that held this teddy bear she made at build a bear workshop because she knew that i go to the hospital alot.

and on my last birthday, my ex-boyfriend's mom bought me a shirt that said "dump him" and had a picture of a girl driving a dump truck and a guy falling off the back.

you don't need to search for something so different that it screams special. just find something that means something.

What can I buy my brother for his 25th birthday?

I need a present to be delivered today in the UK. Chicks are easy enough with flowers, but what can be sent for a man?

What can I buy my brother for his 25th birthday?
Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.
Reply:a kiss
Reply:that latest cartier watch.or gadgets!cell phone,laptop.ipod or ps3
Reply:GOLD GOLD AND MORE GOLD. Or a Diamond
Reply:make a collage of the photographs with ur bro;.that would be great!!!!!!or if u've got money then freak out with some crazy ideas.but if u ask me,i would prefer the collage .THAT WOULD BE TOUCHING AND SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ladies! What shall I buy my wife for her birthday?

I'm usually great with gift ideas, but this year - for some weird reason - I'm having some difficulty trying to think up some imaginitive and original. Kind of disappointed with myself really, but there we go! I wanted to steer clear of things like perfume, chocolates or flowers this year, and I don't think she really appreciates my taste in lingerie!

She's 24, lives in the UK, and she likes Hello Kitty, Prison Break, 24 and Friends. Any advice would be just GREAT - much appreciated. Thanks!

Ladies! What shall I buy my wife for her birthday?
I saw some awesome Hello Kitty PJ's the other day, get her a matching throw, and you're in business!!!!

Try going online to Target, Walmart, Macy's(pricey), or the Hello Kitty website.
Reply:Get her Keiffer Sutherland's autograph.
Reply:DIAMONDS
Reply:a diamond necklace, from the forever collection at zales jewerly
Reply:m im a girl and for my birthday i would want to recieve something that fits my intrests! try something like that.
Reply:Why don't you buy her a dvd set of friends and some Hello Kitty stuff? My sister loves Hello Kitty and I bought her a HK shower radio and telephone. Good Luck!
Reply:Buy her somthing romantic and cute like a hot bag or perfume!

Or i she likes sparkles then buy her some jewerly, we all know that diamonds are a girl's best friends, make it somin cute and romantic not something like like a "Friends" all seasons DVD pack, make it something unusual! Good Luck!! = %26gt;

xoxoxo Roxy
Reply:a gold necklace or bracelet
Reply:Buy her one of those series and spend the evening watching it with her (again). Make her dinner or get take out, but eat it in the living room and lounge around together. Get a Hello Kitty pillow for the sofa, too.
Reply:You could buy her the complete season of 24 box set
Reply:maybe send her to the spa, get her a new dress, and take her out to dinner @ the end of the day) So then the present that you get her doesnt have to be something huge it could just be something simple. Maybe some earrings or a pretty necklace. Or maybe if you want to give her something big then take her on a vacation.
Reply:Whatever you do don't buy here anything for the house like pots and pans or a vacuum. Those are always disappointing gifts. Buy her a DVD set of her favorite movie, or take her shopping and let her pick it out. My personal favorite gift is a massage gift basket and then a wonderful massage!

What can i get my mum for her 42nd birthday?

she has more than enough jewelry, cant eat chocolate, ive got flowers a card and a CD but am totally stumpt for anything else please help

What can i get my mum for her 42nd birthday?
For me, flowers or something that smells good is always appreciated. A small, very special gourmet jellied candy or taking her to breakfast, lunch or dinner in a pretty place: a beach or a garden restaurant, plus a nice word would be great.

It is nice to see someone who not only remembers but wants to do something nice for their Mom. I appreciate you. Personally I am always thinking about the people I love, so sometimes I see something in March that I know would be perfect for that Dec. birthday and I just get it and save it. It's great not to have to do last minute shopping.
Reply:tHANK YOU. i REALLY HOPE YOU HAV A GREAT DAY. Mothers are something we would not even have a life without...nice child too. Jat Report It

Reply:YOU GET MARRIED WITH YOUR GIRLFRIEND.

OR BRING DAD FROM WORK.

OR TAKE THE REST DAY OFF.

OR JUST KISS HER LIPS PASSIONATELY!
Reply:What you get depends on what age you are. Speaking as a mom/wife who's hubby %26amp; child did absolutly NOTHING for her 40th birthday 2 weeks ago. ANYTHING is good. If you are still high school or college age - help around the house, do a chore for her that you know needs to be done. Especially ones she dreads doing or that dad never gets around to. Gutters need to be cleaned, garden weeded etc. With us mom's it isn't always about the gift itself, more the thought that went into the gift. If you are comfortable talking to any of her friends, or if she has a sister, ask them if she has mentioned anything in particular. My mom has always appreciated more the times I've gotten plants %26amp; spent time planting them %26amp; working in her flower beds -- time with your mom ( if you live close) means more than anything. If you don't live close, plan a special trip to see her - or meet somewhere for lunch %26amp; shopping, museum, etc.. Good luck!
Reply:you can make her feel that she is very special for you and you love her the most.also you can give her rest on her birthday and help her do all work of the house.help her in cooking, taking her out. i think there is no bigger gift then this
Reply:A Tattoo...Don't laugh.I got one for my 36Th B.day. You never know what mom might be thinking.
Reply:How about treating her to a "pamper" day? Book an appointment at a salon and let her have a manicure/pedicure/massage. You pick her up and bring her back, even better if you could share it together as that would be a real "girly" day. Hope this helps x
Reply:Wat I did ........I took leave from my office and stayed with my mom..............for the whole day we both were together........In the evening I gaved her a nice dress(i bought a saree) wat ur mother like..........and helped with her in the kitchen..........or u can go out with her for a dinner with ur whole family.....

This is wat A mother need..............

Gud luck..%26amp; wish her Happy Birthday from my side Toooooooooo

Hmmm... What do you think she is really into?? What kind of sports. Whats her favorite color. Maybe give her somethign that she will ALWAYS remember you. Instead of a scrapbook. Or take her out shopping and make sure one of the gift is a kiss ;].

Reply:depending on what sort of girl she is i have a few options... do u belive you will be with each other forever? well why not get matching tatoos something small.. and hidden. Reply:You should get her something that is unique to her taste not strangers advice - Ask someone close to her, it will mean more
Reply:I think a Tiffany's necklace would be a wonderful gift. She will e able to ahve it forever and it is a nice piece of Jewelry. Rose flowers are nice too, and a movie she wants to see, maybe rent a limo too my opinions for tiffany's are down there. it really depends on your budget, a diamond would be nice, but is expensive, while you can get a pretty necklace for $150-$200

my choices go from my favorites to my least favorites (but they are still gorgeos) and I made to categories diamond and no diamond

hope this helps! make sure you tell me what you get her!
Reply:Just think back into conversations uve had w/ her. She might have menchined sumthing she thought was really cute sumthing random. and some other stuff. Put those all together sum how and she will really like it. get her flowers too!! and give themall to her at a picnic in a nice calm area. and tell her you love her sooso much.
Reply:Get her something you want to see her him. Do you like red thongs with a matching bra? Get it. Trust me. I have been with my guy for over 3 years now, he got me little baby blue boy shorts and a black thong, as well as 2 shirts, candy, and a card sharing his feelings inside. i still have them all. But in my relationship I treasure what comes from the heart more. Such as a card, with his feelings. It always gets me teary eyed! Good luck! I hope I helped!
Reply:necklaces, maybe u should find out what she always wanted and do ur best good luck.=%26gt;)

What can i give to my mom for her birthday?

i want to hamdmake her a gift with flowers.not a bouget like something special that shows i love her.

What can i give to my mom for her birthday?
Buy a plain picture frame and paint on it or glue little pretty fake flowers on it.

Then put a picture of yourself in it.

She'll love it.
Reply:hug.kiss.i love you mom and flowers Report It

Reply:clean your room
Reply:cake roses and money and Dinner and a card saying i love you
Reply:I got the perfect thing! Check brookstone, their stuff is soooo cool, but can be expensive. So go to ebay and type digital picture keychain. So much cheaper!!! It is like a little keychain that has digital pictures that change like every couple minutes. Also a magic bullet is cool to.
Reply:Do dried flowers around a pic of you on a frame! That's nice!
Reply:My mother would buy a wicker mat shaped like a heart and thread immitation flowers and decor into it. They lasted so long we could no longer dust them.
Reply:You could make your mom's birthday cake/favorite dessert. or build her a garden with her favorite flowers in it- unlike a bouquet, they dont die as long as you care for it.
Reply:These days home made gifts are a wonder ...do you have a DVD

recorder? OK skip that try a album of photos of the last few years

memories are a woman's treasure. Especially a mothers..!! The fact that you go out of your way to do anything for her will make her happy!! Anyway go to any craft store and get a glue gun and have at it ...even include captions of past moments and flowers will do the trick!!
Reply:you can do lots of things.for instance you can bake a cake for her, you can make her breakfast/lunch/dinner, you could draw a picture for her or make her a card, you could even write her a poem. I think these are perfect gifts you can make for your mom.
Reply:Make her a few cards which she could use when she needs your help. On the card, you can draw flowers as background and write 'free dishwashing for one day', or 'free babysitting for 1 hour', or free massage, etc. She can use it, not only on her birthday, but also for other times when she really needs the help.

Im looking for a tattoo idea for my 18th birthday?

i like stars and flowers and i was thinking of putting something small on my hip bone. im a perfectionist so im having a really hard time thinking of something. i was also thinking of something to show my perfectionist personality. please help!

Im looking for a tattoo idea for my 18th birthday?
You dont even know what you want. You dont deserve a tattoo, Its body Art. You dont just get one for fun or to look cool.
Reply:Think about how you'll feel when you're eighty and still stuck with that tattoo before committing yourself.

But if you're determined, the hip bone or back are the best options since you can easily hide it. Something like a starburst, a butterfly, a star and moon or a tiny planet Earth would be cool. Don't get any Chinese writing in case you end up with 'king prawn fried rice' permanently etched on your skin!
Reply:i wanted a tattoo for my 18th birthday but alot of people talked me out of it...and i happy! if you think about almost women now a days have a least one tatoo! so its really hard to find a women with out one...its more unique a lot of guys like a plain sexy body! think about it really hard because your going to have it for the rest of your life...if you have kids it will be wrinkly and stretched out! tatoos are are sooo outdated! if you do get one....get one that means something special to you not just a flower, butterfly or heart thats lame...don't do color because if ends up fading after a while and needs to be retouched! if you've ever watched "miami ink" which are people who are great tatoo artists...they won't do a tatoo on you that doesn't have significant value...they belive its a way to express yourself not just doing it cause its in style or fun cause your 18 and you can!
Reply:at all, I don't think you should get a tattoo at all. it could give you skin cancer!
Reply:Don't. U just think it is nice but it is not. It is just in your mind. Don't do it!!!
Reply:well a tattoo is a personal decision, and what you get should in no way be influenced by anyone here. everybody saying that you shouldnt get one is just weird to me, they are obviously in the tattoo section for a reason, but of course they arent going to admit that they like them!

and yes, a tatto will never look the same for the rest of your life, pregnancy and aging will play a huge part of it. but as i have two tattos myself, and will be getting another one this february i feel as though your going to get wrinkly and saggy when you are older ANYWAY, its not like the tattoo is going to MAKE you wrinkly and saggy, so why not just enjoy your life now! permanant or not, live in the moment, not for something that is 40+ years away. when i am in my 40's/50's i never want to have to say "what if?"

and sure, SOME girls get tattoos in certain locations just for guys to look in that direction, but i have had a tattoo on the lower right side of my back for two years, and its not something that was done for the sole purpose of getting the attention of the opposite sex. i chose to wear longer tunic tops so that it will NOT be seen, because i got it for MYSELF, not a bunch of horny guys. so whoever made that comment is the exact type of person who WOULD get a tattoo just because of the looks that she would bet from guys

its YOUR life! do what you want!

so to answer your question, i think you should be the deciding factor of what design you get, but i do think that the placement should be rethought. i thought about a tattoo on my hip bone before, but i know that i want children in my future, so i decided on not getting it in that location. talking to your tattoo artist will be a great way for them to incorporate you likes into a unique design just for you!

good luck!!
Reply:I don't have any tattoos, but Ive thought allot about what I would get if I did, I would go with something that represents me or something I like and wont change

For me it would be a Celtic tree of life or a Celtic cross

Others I know have there astrology sign, there date of birth will never change so how could they regret it?
Reply:Don't do it. You'll hate it later.
Reply:Erm...personally i'd tell you not to get one lol. If you do then make sure it's pretty small and that your absolutely certain about it because it's always gonna be there...even if you choose to get it removed in the future there's gonna be a scar. Don't get anything too tacky or too visible, any tattoo looks tacky on girls...guys are a different story lol. Just make sure you think about it very seriously before you commit to it.

If you do decide to get a tattoo then maybe just start with one star/flower (small) and if you like it then you can always expand in the future with another star/flower lol.
Reply:alot of girls have a tatoo of some sort around the lower back like a butterfly or a lizerd maybe a heart you choose!
Reply:BUTTERFLY!!!!!!!
Reply:WHAT?!?!?! i would SERIOUSLY think about this. you are going to have it on your body for the rest of your life!!!

i would put on "i made a really bad decision"
Reply:you're going to look like every other girl that 'wants it for themselves' but has a million guys stairing at her hip/butt area because of it. Everyone wants to get tattoos these days to be original and unique but since everyone's getting the exact same things in the same places, its the people that DONT get tattooed who are actually unique. wiat until you're a little older and see if u still want it. THEN do it. when i was turning 18 i wanted to get a piercing and i wasn't allowed to do it. now, at 20, only 2 years later, i'm so happy i never got it because i think it looks ridiculous and you probably will too
Reply:Well I'm getting a tattoo on my 16th Birthday, don't listen to these people that tell you not to get one! Many people have told me, "oh your gonna have it for the rest of your life and your ruining your body, blah blah blah..." but after all that I had way more people telling me to go for it. If your a perfectionist like me, then you should think of a symbol of what you believe in or what you like, kinda like a symbol of who you are. For example the tattoo I'm getting is the logo from the "American Idiot" CD by Green Day, with the lyrics of my favorite song tattooed next to it, I choose this because Green Day is my favorite band and their American Idiot album is really what introduced me to them, their music speaks to me and to me this is a big symbol of who I am. Now you have to think of something that is really important to you in your life, I know it's really really hard, but that's what you have to think of. And that one symbol will be the perfect tattoo to get!

I hope this helped and good luck on the tattoo!
Reply:Girls with tattoos are somewhat trashy in my opinion, but I guess since it's your body you should go for a small star right on the hip bone. That way if you regret it it's not something too noticeable.
Reply:my opinion dont get a tatoo, because some day you may regret having it. its not like it will wash off. i cannot tell what u should get. but at least before you do try a hyenna tatoo. they last about 8 weeks and if you dont like it then ur not out anything.
Reply:Well my sister has a tatoo and it is a crown.

Look at crowns and maybe you will like it!
Reply:something that represents you and your past but remember it lasts forever unless you get it removed by laser surgery or a perfect star or flower
Reply:I think getting two cherries on the lower part of your hip would be sweet... That's what I'm geting
Reply:Honestly, if you don't know what you want then you shouldn't get one. In fact, you don't deserve one. I have twenty-one tattoos and for everyone of them I spent at least a year thinking about placement and design. Every single one of my tattoos has a story behind it, and not just some tale about a drunken night out on the town either! Your tattoo should have some meaning to you.

For example, I have a tattoo of Bela Lugosi as Dracula on my upper arm. Now most people see that and assume I'm a horror movie fan, which is true but not the reason I got that tattoo. I actually got that in memory of my mother. She and I used to go to a drive-in theater and see Dracula over and over. It wasn't just a movie, it was our movie.

Also, if you're such a perfectionist, it's probably not a good idea to get a tattoo anyway. No matter how good the artist, there will probably be little imperfections in your tattoo, if not immediately, definitely after several years when the tattoo may have stretched or faded.
Reply:get a small cluster of your favorite flowers.

whatever you get, have the artist draw it out on paper for you to make sure it is exactly what you want; do NOT be scared to be very picky about the exact drawing with the artist because it is going to be on your body forever.

When he places the tattoo sketch on your body, make sure it is in the exact spot you want it before you start getting it inked permanently.

If you have ana artist that does all this with you, make sure you tip him or her very well!
Reply:this is a desicion that must brew in your brain for a while. It'll come to you, maybe not for your 18th birthday....I had a design all picked out for a certain bday, but then ... I thought about it again and have changed it 3 times since then. Ive got it now...I think!!!

What can I get for my Grandma's 80th birthday?

Can't be scented/flowers cos of her allergies, can't be a necklace cos my mums getting her that, can't be to take her anywhere cos she can still walk but needs a stick so would be too much- please help!

What can I get for my Grandma's 80th birthday?
a basket full of yummies, in addition to some useful things, maybe postage stamps and stationary if she still writes, a unique pen....little gift baskets are so much fun for the elderly. my 82-yr. old mother-in-law loves things that we no longer think about, colored pencils, 'fridge magnets, cheese and cracker packets, different kinds of jellies and spreads. i know this may sound a little frivilous...but your grandmother probably has everything she'll ever need or want, and taking the time to pick out a little of this and that and pulling it together for her will show her that you put some thought into what she likes. craft items are wonderful as well, if she's into that. an 80 yr. old wants something they can use, not pack away in a closet. commemorative things are nice, but not useful, and life is short!
Reply:Get everyone in the family to write a story about a special memory, funny story or how much your grandmother has meant to them and have all of the stories typed up and put into a nice folder or made into a little book for her.You will need to get everyone involved, aunts, uncles, cousins, sister, grandchildren ect., you will need some time to get this together so get started!
Reply:My family got my great grandma that turned 85 a money tree. Just get a branch decorate it with money tied on with colorful string. Put it in a nice flower pot maybe with her favorite candy or even coins at the bottom. She always needs money.
Reply:buy her a ticket to go somewhere special and close to home she can get to in a day so you and her could spend time together because that would be priceless
Reply:When my Nanna turned 80 we bought her a record player - it meant she could re-live all the old memories of when my grandad was still alive - the songs they used to listen to together and things, only she could no longer play. It really made her day. Choose something that enables her to re-live the fondest memories of when she was younger, more mobile etc, and help to make her day really special. Don't go for something obvious - really let her know you put thought into it and how much you love her.

What should i buy for my mum for her birthday?

before u answer u should know that she is very career-driven and is a woman who 'has-it-all', so she'd appreciate smaller gestures from the heart rather than anything materialistic, because what she wants she already has, and what she needs she will get it on her own. I've been buying her flowers for many years now, and would like to get her something else. Any suggestions???

What should i buy for my mum for her birthday?
make a memory album of u and her together

What can I get my mum for her 50th birthday?

my mum is 50 on Thursday and i'm stuck as to what to get her. I thought flowers or chocolates was a bit cliche. So any ideas would be very welcome. I'm looking to spend £25 ($15) as i'm a poor student.

Please help!

What can I get my mum for her 50th birthday?
When I didn't have a lot of cash for presents I would make up little cards like a coupon with things like "one hug any time you want one", "one dinner on me you choose time and place", " i will do the laundry and put it away for you for two weeks", " one pedicure and manicure by me at your convenience" .

What are your Mom's hobbies??? Choose one and spend time with her shopping for supplies or if there is a show that features her hobby in your area plan a day attending and a lunch or dinner out.

But don't forget to let her know how much you love her and appreciate her.
Reply:Happy birthday to your Mum. Whatever you purchase with love and affection she will be happy. You should gift her something which she likes or interested in. Flowers or choclate is not a bad idea. I can suggest ........... a beautiful dress or a small jewellary or buy a cake etc.... etc....
Reply:cook dinner for her, and just spend time with her. You can get nice earrings, or a bracelet, or a book she would like.
Reply:A dildo.
Reply:Take her out to lunch and don't be scared to use coupons. For her it would be sentimental and very remembering...like another moment, as if it's another mother's day. And you know how mom's get about mother's day, very teary eyed for just spending time and a meal with them. Hope this helps!
Reply:give her anything that made from gold
Reply:A letter, a poem, a "date" with her to a coffee bar. A thank you, a hug AND flowers and chocolate. A drawing, a pair of earrings, a handmade gift card good forever for love everlasting. Any of them, all of them, pick and choose. You can't go wrong when she sees how much you care and handmade gifts are always wanted.
Reply:Take her to lunch..time spent just with you would probably mean more to her than anything else..
Reply:Well, I just turned 50 on the 15th of October, and my daughter is on a low budget also. She bought me a purse %26amp; some ladybug earrings, her mother-in-law bought me ladybug windchimes. These items aren't very expensive, just a few ideas. By the way? 50 is great! Good luck.
Reply:thats hard to work with but try treating her to a lil spa treatment...in your case a manicure/pedicure.
Reply:if it is possible take her out to lunch.it doesn`t have to be expensive but just show her that you love her.
Reply:Get her a beautiful locket with your pic or her grandkids pic in it, have it engraved!

Or make a reservation for a family photo... she would love that!

Or make her a homemade dvd, with old photos from major events, weddings, your graduation, family reunions. Ask all of your family members to send pics, poems or share old memories, record them all and put it with some music on a dvd. This would defintely be a tear jerker!
Reply:try ebay honestly its a really good way to go!
Reply:bake her a cake
Reply:a fishing pole
Reply:Club together with some of her friends and buy her a ride in a Hot Air Baloon.
Reply:Something that helps her feel like a person - a woman, even. She wasn't always your mum and she wasn't always 50.

You could help her feel very good indeed on £25 or even less by concentrating your wish to help her feel as special as she is on the way you treat her, rather than on what you buy her. Spend time with her. Ring up some of her friends and get them to come round. Run her a bath and tell her to put her gladrags on, then tell her how lovely she looks, and how proud of her you are.

If you have have time and access, put together an album or scrap book containing photos or other things that will remind her of good things that have been part of her life and your relationship - theatre ticket stubs, pressed flowers from special bouquets, one of your school reports, leaflets from places she has visited and enjoyed, photos of her when she was smiling and enjoying herself.

Hope she has a great day - you can help!

What should I get for my boyrfiend for his birthday? PLEASE HELP!!?

My boyfriend is turing 20 years old and we have been together for almost 3 years. I want to do something special or get something special. He likes cars, music, motorcycles, working on the house (fixer uper projects).... In previous years i have gotten him flowers and balloons without him knowing, I have gotten his brother to come visit.. (he hadn't seen his brother in 14 years) So I need to out do myself for previous years... PLEASE HELP ME!!

What should I get for my boyrfiend for his birthday? PLEASE HELP!!?
Tell him you are taking him out to dinner and for him to pick you up at a certain time...when he arrives, have a sticky note on the door giving him instructions to follow...maybe have his favorite drink in the fridge, with a note attached instructing him to look elsewhere for something else...be specific and have a sticky note waiting on each thing...Be creative! If the two of you are intimately involved, you can have him follow a trail of clothing back to the bathroom where you have candles, soft music and a bubble bath waiting for him. Give him a nice massage after his bubble bath...the rest is up to you LOL

If he has a motorcycle or you have a friend that has one, have someone take your picture on the bike :) Put it in a nice frame for him. Other ideas may be go to a guitar store and ask a friend to take your pic holding a guitar like a rockstar!

Your choices are unlimited if you let your creative mind flow!

Have a great time...oh yeah...apologize for lying to him and telling him you were taking him to dinner ;-) But be sure to fix his favorite meal or order in for the night :)
Reply:I say, hide his brother in the..... living rooms quite good, and say to him: "I bought you a [insert favourite band name here] subscription for your birthday!! the kiss him or whatever, then say 'I left it on the couch for you", he goes in, and theres his brother!! Hope it helped :)
Reply:You can buy a Harley Davidson gift card or try www.personalcreations.com you can get things engraved with his name. I got "his/hers heart key chains"

If I'm a gay guy, can I send roses/flowers thru mail to my straight friend who's a girl--BUT she has a fiancee

This would be for her birthday, BUT I don't want to send the wrong message to her guy fiancee.

If I'm a gay guy, can I send roses/flowers thru mail to my straight friend who's a girl--BUT she has a fiancee
dont worry its perfectly fine

if he knows your gay thats even better on your part

im sure its only if your like buying her a ring or something that he would have reason to be questioning

thats very sensitive of you
Reply:I don't see anything wrong with it, especially if it's a happy birthday bouquet. If you were sending it to her on Valentines day that might raise a few eyebrows, but for a birthday there shouldn't be any issue. If it starts problems with her fiance because he's that insecure in their relationship then the trouble goes far beyond you.
Reply:Oh come on, flowers are sweet, period. If I were the fiance, I might get flustered for a moment, and then realize I'm marrying this person, so it doesn't matter.

Besides, it comes with a card. Write her a Hapy B-day.

Unless you're sending her one dozen red roses, there is no message other than friendship. Try yellow roses, they symbolize friendship.
Reply:Personaly I don't see why not. No offense but if you are gay what does her boyfriend have to worry about? I think it's cool you have a good friend who is a girl. I think everyone needs a good trustworthy friend of the opposite sex. They can talk to you and get opinions that may help you understand what is going on with you or your partner.
Reply:*raises eyebrows*

Unless this guy is a homophobe, then I don't think he's gonna have any problems w/ you sending roses to his fiancee.

Like I doubt he's gonna get insecure that you're gonna steal her away:P... and if he is, perhaps, their relationship is a sham.
Reply:If you can talk to the fiance, or communicate with him in some sort of way, I'd give him a heads up first... just to let him know. That way, he can also buy her flowers or something. I'm sure he will totally appreciate the heads up so he knows that he's going to have to step up his game! lol!!
Reply:why do u wanna send flowers- depends on the occasion. dont do it jUST to be nice my gay friend did something similar and now my bf thinks he's "pretending" to be gay. Also depends on how cool the other guy is. (If you know him well enough also)
Reply:Why don't you talk to the fiance first, and just tell him what the story is? Make it clear that you're sending your friend a gift, and that's all there is to it. If he's reasonable, he'll get it.
Reply:I don't see a problem with it, but make sure her fiancé knows your intent.

BTW, "fiancé" is a man and "fiancée" is a woman. I didn't know that until many years after I finished HS.
Reply:if he knows you're gay, he should be fine with it, but MAKE SURE HE KNOWS YOUR GAY, cause you could be in a lot of trouble, lol.
Reply:Yea as long as the fiance knows you don't love his wife... and send a card with the flowers congratulating her on her engagement

HOPE THIS HELPS HELPS!!!

XoXoXoXo

Reply:That it appropriate.
Reply:Sounds fine to me, especially if he knows there is no way that you're into his girl in a romantic way.
Reply:only if they know your gay ! but whats the flowers for ? personalize the message u want to get accross to your friend if its flirty and they dont know ur gay ... then your screwed . but dont stress about it
Reply:If the fiance knows you ...then its okay

If he doesn't know you andyou think he is the jealous type... then no
Reply:Do so, but sound really gay in the card you send.
Reply:I think it would be okay.

Unless you think he is jealous of you.
Reply:Sure ! I don't see any problem with that and I am sure her fiance won't either.
Reply:hmm.. he may get the wrong idea
Reply:Its cool she knows your only friends

What should i get my girlfriend for her birthday? ladies.. kinda need your help?
That's a great idea. The music part shows that you care about her interests, and the flowers show that you are also sweet and romantic. Perfect gift. If you were older I'd recommend something she's interested in and jewelry- but at 14 flowers and a music giftcard is a very generous gift and you are very thoughtful. Especially for remembering her birthday in the first place lol
Reply:GET HER THE GIFT CARD,BUT GET IT FROM BESTBUY THEY HAVE MORE THINGS TO CHOOSE FROM.ALSO,TAKE HER OUT SOME WHERE WITH JUST YOU AND HER!!!GOOD LUCK!!!

Any ideas of how to make my moms Birthday Day special?

My mom is turning 41. I want to so something special for her. The only 2 things that is making it complicated is that 1. i am on a budget 2. my dad is on a wheelchair, so it is hard to take her somewhere because i want all three of us be together. Obviously diner and flowers no question, but i want something more. Any sujestions?

Any ideas of how to make my moms Birthday Day special?
plant her some flowers, write her a poem, have someone take a picture of the 3 of you and you could make a frame for it or scrapbook some pics of the family. Surprise her with a spotless car that you cleaned. I know that it sounds cliche but it is the thought that counts. It would mean more to your mom that you really wanted to make her day special than by spending a bunch of money. By the time your 41 you can buy stuff for yourself but you can't buy happy memories with your children. That reminds me.....I better get off the computer and spend some time with my kids!!
Reply:Throw a surprise party for her.

Take her to see a show (all places by law are required to be handicap accessible, so it shouldn't be too hard to find one)

Instead of dinner out, make her dinner at home and spend the dinner money at a spa (even just pedis would be nice)

Hope these help!
Reply:I know it sounds silly, but doing the house work for her and giving her a break, maby you and your dad could arrange for a pamper day, this can be done cheap, get some nice bubble bath and run her a wonderfull bath with rose petals then your dad could massage her feet while you give her a facial and a manicure. Then a nice picnic in a beautiful park, yummy food, good wine, her not having to lift a finger. Good Luck, you are wonderful to do something special for your mum. It sounds like she is always busy busy. Maby a movie to top it all off.

Need your opinion!! I have to buy a birthday present for my girlfriend and I am not sure what to get!?!?!?

She is 28 years old and a beautiful girl. She works in a corporate environment in the fashion industry. She isnt a snob but is pretty classy and well dressed. Obviously knows her way around being fashionable. I so far have bought a diamond necklace and a bracelet from Tiffanys in the jewelery department of things. I know my way around that just fine. She had mentioned diamond earrings, but when I showed her some ideas she thought I was crazy for spending so much. AT this point in time I am not doing good financially for the moment and need some relief on my wallet. So I just wanted some other ideas of what I can get her. I write poems and get her flowers etc... But as far as presents go please help me out. Thanks for much for any help, and its greatly appreciated!! ; - )

Need your opinion!! I have to buy a birthday present for my girlfriend and I am not sure what to get!?!?!?
Well, I don't know about her...but if you were having financial problems the last thing I would want is for you to be spending a lot of money on me. I am around the same age and all I want from my hubby is something that shows that he gets me %26amp; listens to me. I love reading, so for Christmas my hubby went to my favorite old book store %26amp; got me books from some of my favorite authors. Then, he found some vintage pin-up art postcards and wrote lovely notes on each. The fact that he knew that I would love this and picked each out just amazed me. I think that the best gift any guy can give a woman is something that took a little thought %26amp; effort.
Reply:Honestly, i would be fine with the Tiffanys, its not too much or too little its fine. And if she appreciates what you do for her or what you bought her she will be happy with that. A girl does not need presents a girl needs a guy determine to be there with her through thick and thin...
Reply:Look for bargains in diamond earrings. I bought for my mum in an auction site which is really cheap and affordable.

If you check this site out, they have some tips on how to bid. I am sure you'll save a lot. You can buy as low as $25 onwards but there are very nice expensive looking ones too, priced a bit more.

I bought once and my mum got so excited she's buying direct from the auction herself.
Reply:Whats the weather like where you live? If it nice, you can plan a scavenger hunt that leads to a romantic picnic or dinner. Not all jewelry has to have diamonds. What about a gem stone ring with her birthstone in it, they aren't that expensive. What about naming a star after her, it costs from $54-$150 plus shipping.

Heres the website:

I have a dress for a friend's birthday party tonight but ....?

In fact I have two. One is a 50's style kitsch red and white dress. (White with red roses), and it's all flowy and full skirted. I have some vintage 50's shoes I can wear with this one, which looks quite nice. BUT THEN, there is the other dress, which is shorter (above knees) and is a babydoll dress with silk and it's a pinkish with retro styled turquoise and brown outlinings of flowers (nicer than it sounds...) I am having a dilemma choosing which, but MORE importantly, am fussing over my makeup for either of these dresses.

ANY help would be appreciated! :D

I have a dress for a friend's birthday party tonight but ....?
Wear the 50s dress.

Bright red lipstick with light pink blush and eyeshadow. Dust some shimmery silver powder too. Very vintage.
Reply:where are you going? you might want to pick the dress that best suits your activity? like short dress for somethin active, long for ballroom sorta thing..
Reply:Go with the babydoll dress in silk, that sounds really pretty. I would wear a brown eyeshadow with a soft pink above that. Trust me it will look good. and wear a light pink lipgloss and a soft colored blush. You should curl your hair in loose curls and leave it down. Have fun and I hope this helps, your dress sounds pretty
Reply:red and white dress, throw in a red neck scarf if you have one

make up then was simple where red lips and tons of black eyeliner on your top lid.

Hair high on your head in a ponytail.
Reply:They both sound beautiful to me! Vintage dresses are the best! For the makeup I would just go simple and feminine, like soft pinks, brown or gray eyeliner ( not black!) and see what colors of makeup you have that match the dress and if you decide what makeup you like better you can choose the dress from that. Have fun!
Reply:try neutral colors like browns and a clear lip gloss that is always appropriate and always in style it matches everything. so what ever dress YOU pick will match u will look lovely
Reply:I think the white and red one sounds sexy. Wear that one.
Reply:You should wear the baby doll dress.

wear light pink, or blue, or white eyeshadow.
