I have a dress for a friend's birthday party tonight but ....?

In fact I have two. One is a 50's style kitsch red and white dress. (White with red roses), and it's all flowy and full skirted. I have some vintage 50's shoes I can wear with this one, which looks quite nice. BUT THEN, there is the other dress, which is shorter (above knees) and is a babydoll dress with silk and it's a pinkish with retro styled turquoise and brown outlinings of flowers (nicer than it sounds...) I am having a dilemma choosing which, but MORE importantly, am fussing over my makeup for either of these dresses.


ANY help would be appreciated! :D

Bright red lipstick with light pink blush and eyeshadow. Dust some shimmery silver powder too. Very vintage.
Reply:where are you going? you might want to pick the dress that best suits your activity? like short dress for somethin active, long for ballroom sorta thing..
Reply:Go with the babydoll dress in silk, that sounds really pretty. I would wear a brown eyeshadow with a soft pink above that. Trust me it will look good. and wear a light pink lipgloss and a soft colored blush. You should curl your hair in loose curls and leave it down. Reply:They both sound beautiful to me! Vintage dresses are the best! For the makeup I would just go simple and feminine, like soft pinks, brown or gray eyeliner ( not black!) and see what colors of makeup you have that match the dress and if you decide what makeup you like better you can choose the dress from that. Have fun!
