What's a good Birthday present for a female-friend?

My mom suggested flowers, but that seems to relationshipy to me, and we're just friends. I'm really shot for ideas, so any insight would help.

What's a good Birthday present for a female-friend?
Well I'm a girl so I'll just list things that I would like to receive from a guy friend, and that I wouldn't think are too "relationshipy" (nice word BTW)





- a cd from her fave band (or maybe a mix cd of music you'd think she'd like)


- tickets for the two of you to check out a killer concert


- a gift certificate to get a manicure or pedicure or some sort of spa thing


- does she have any piercings? maybe a new barbell or ring


- if your of legal age, a bottle of wine or alcohol


- something pretty and decorative like a nice candle


- a board game, I like Cranium or Scene It, or something classic like Jenga or Guess Who. You can have fun playing it too!!


- Does she have an iPod or a cell? What about a new case of gadget for those?


- Does she loooooove a certain band? Try looking for items from the band, like shirts or figurines (try eBay)





If you still can't think of anything, ask one of her other girlfriends for advice, and maybe you can even go in with a group of friends and get her something a bit bigger and really great. Best of luck!
Reply:well yur right about yur moms idea.. but i woulkd suggest CHOCOLATE!! never can go wrong with chocolate!!! or a gift card to place she gos to a lot (starbucks, target, mall!! etc.)

Reply:depends on the type of girl she is, if shes the girly type maybe a gift card to one of her favorite clothing stores. if she has an ipods maybe an itunes gift card. or so that you don't have to limit her get one for those gift cards that can be used any where. American express has them. cant go wrong with gift cards.
Reply:Gift certificate to a favorite restaurant or for a manicure or pedicure, candles, a plant, a T shirt, CD or DVD, concert tickets, book, magazine subscription, picture frame, etc.

Reply:A good gift would be a gift card to a place she likes then she can get what she really wants and you dont have to stress about it . But make sure it is good amout of money!
Reply:give her like 25-30 dollars and tell her that u didnt no what to buy her and if u did buy her something she might not like it so thats the reason u gave her the money

Reply:Find out what she really likes maybe a favorite book or a favorite movie snoop around her house and take a look around see what interests her that should give you some clues.
Reply:it depends on what she likes get her balloons or a card!!! you can also get her her faveriote movie that is what i would want!!!! and if she likes books give her her faveriote book!!
