I thought about having flowers delivered to her at work but then thought that might be intrusive.

Reply:Try something personal, but not too personal. Do you know what kind of music she likes? Perhaps some of her favorite songs? You could make a "mix-tape" style CD for her. Does she like to write? You could bind a journal for her; it's actually not that hard and it shows that you put a lot of thought and effort into the gift.
