What can i buy for my moms 50th birthday?

its my moms 50th on saturday. i have no idea what to get for her. I want to get something she can keep forever rather than the usual chocs, flowers etc %26amp; jewellry is out of the question as she has more than the queen.

Im completely stuck, does anyone have any good suggestions?

What can i buy for my moms 50th birthday?
My grandmother like you just celebrated an important birthday. I think that if you could make something like a scrap book with pictures and memories over the last 50years. or make her something to let her know how important she is to you as a mother
Reply:it depends on what your mum likes if shes like flowers then get her a big bunch of flowers. when your out shopping just look at an item u are thinking of buying for your mum and think would my mum really like that!! i think a frame with a memorable picture inside, is a really good gift!!
Reply:How about spending the day/eve out somewhere together? Maybe a meal than a show. She will always remember the experience and your time together. It doesn't need to be material.
Reply:What about a hollywood make over.. at 50 I am sure she will feel in need of a bit of a boost, and what a beautiful picture that will make for her to keep
Reply:Why don't you give her a MIRROR with GOLD PLATED EDGES.

GOLD represents 50 years and the MIRROR well help her figure out just how GRACEFUL life has rendered her and how GRATEFUL she has to be to the life giver.
Reply:It doesn't really matter what you give her, as long as she feels it's a gift from the heart.

A good option would be to give her a new experience, as she already has got a lot of material stuff. Give her a ticket for a great show, or take her somewhere you know she will enjoy. This could off course vary from taking her out to lunch, go for a swim with the dolphins, or to take her somewhere abroad, depending on your budget. Good luck with finding her a suitable gift!
Reply:Well there are lots of things you could get her like you could buy her a sweet shampoo and perfume box with a little teddy inside or if she has the time a little pet etc gold fish, hampster, rabbit, guinia pig, mouse or even an african snail or kitten! You could also give her a little crystal or a crystal ball even !or a mini wooden shelf statue eg,bodda or you could buy her a little china bowl or one of those extra soft cushions or you could buy her a little pear of shoes or a nice dress!
Reply:50 represents gold so how about a gold pendant with family pics inside?
Reply:what about a trip somewhere she always said she would love to visit plenty of memories for her and memories last a life time
Reply:depends on how much money you have, but take her to a show in london, or spend a day at a spa with her.. Make her a photo album all lots of family pictures and memories
Reply:buy her that new rampant rabbit vibrator with all the different fittings, sure she'll enjoy that.

if that's a no no then how about a nice plant or small tree that will last a long time, like an apple tree, and every year she can have pleasure from it.
Reply:Try this:

Go over to her place and tell her u are going to spend the whole day with her. Tell her to prepare that meal u used to like a lot when u were six yrs old. Make her sit with u and tell you a very intimate story. I assure u she will neva forget this birthday.

My mum's birthday was yday and I was half a world away. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

Cheers
