What would be a creative present for my friends birthday?

She's 18 and I would like to buy her something different, cute, interesting. Do you have any ideas? I don't want clothes, flowers, necklaces or anything obvious and I'm going to give her a card so that's not good either. Thanks!

have a look on the net at i want one of those they have some good stuff
Reply:ART..are there any bizarre type shops in your area? IF you are artistic, go to art.com and look up some ideas from other artists. My favorite is Natasha Wescoat. If not, go to urbanoutfitters.com, and go look in the "entertainment"

and also "furnishing" section. They have some COOOOL stuff.. Deff check out their books too. hahaa they are great.
Reply:Why not use your photos of her and her friends and family to make a personalised calendar? or mug or placemats? I think the Kodak website does them
Reply:think of a good time that you shared together and get something that represents that time.

today's my friend's 18th.

one year, we had just seen monty python and the holy grail. she went out and bought a coconut. then she drained all the milk from it, cut it in half, and scraped everything out for days! then she stuck the two halves in a box that held this teddy bear she made at build a bear workshop because she knew that i go to the hospital alot.

and on my last birthday, my ex-boyfriend's mom bought me a shirt that said "dump him" and had a picture of a girl driving a dump truck and a guy falling off the back.

you don't need to search for something so different that it screams special. just find something that means something.
Reply:you could make her a scrapbook of all your great times together. make sure you keep copies of the photos for yourself before making the scrapbook.
