My soon-to-be-9 year old little sister's birthday is coming up. What should I give her??

She likes horses, pink, flowers, fairies, painting, and cooking. I want to MAKE her something instead of buying it. Any ideas?

You should draw her a story book full of pink faeries who cook and paint and ride magical horses!
Reply:does she have a cell? You could gt her a cheap one.
Reply:How about taking a normal textbook, and writing on it: (Name's) Diary. Then just take a jewlery box, and paint Horses, Flowers, Fairies on it, and put the diary inside.
Reply:Just ask her what she likes. And if you know what she likes, for example shopping buy her an outfit. And make sure shes not suspicious

Reply:Go to a craft store and buy a ceramic flower pot, paint it and plant some flowers in it for her. Or you could get a horse statue (one that hasn't been painted - - at the craft store or any store that has a craft section) and paint that for her.

3. 50 brand new best selected dresses in the state or country

Reply:mace , to keep freaks away, I have 3 kids and I worry everyday with all the freaks out there. But for real like above anything from the heart. At nine I think she would like jewelry and doesnt have to be expensive

Reply:Why don't you make her a paint by number set? All it would cost would be for the paint. Draw one of the items you think she would like, number it accordingly. Ta-da! Add some glitter spray to go with it so she can really dress it up.

Reply:Do you have a friend or family member who owns a pottery wheel? Do you have a pottery studio in your town? You could make your sister a fairy sculpture and glaze it.

Reply:go 2 micheals craft store. buy the big letters of wood that could b painted. bye all the letters of her name. paint them pink. then get a magazine n cut out pictures (little so they fit on the letters)of flowers, and horses then glue them on. u can also draw and paint a paint brush on them with a chefs hat . that will look cute and she can put it on her wall in her room

Why dont u cook something special to her? that would be nice too

Painting-An easel and paint brushes+paint or crayons/markers (expensive.) Or a coloring book/paint by numbers kit (cheap.)


Fairies-A fairy doll or book about fairies.


Pink-I'm sure all most all little girl toys will be pink. =)


Horses-A stuffed horse or plastic horse figurine. Or (expensive) a rocking horse.
Reply:Well if you DO buy her something, go Polly Pockets or Bratz. I'd go look around Michael's for a craft that you think she'd really like. That place is full of ideas!
Reply:Paint and decorate a picture frame or a mirror with silk flowers, rinestones, etc. I really like a product called Foamies. These are foam letters that you peel and stick. They also come in lots of different shapes: hearts, bugs, flowers, etc. A small bucket usually costs like $4.00 and you can give her the leftovers and she can decorate whatever she wants.

or...you can get a craft book and make her homemade paper and paints

Reply:Make her a collage to hang on her wall full of pictures that she'll like! Pictures of flowers, horses, puppies... You can easily find all the pictures you need in old magazines. She'll love it!!!

Reply:Make some fairy wings for her. You can buy white wings at the dollar store and paint them pretty colors. You can draw her a pretty fairy and put it in a frame. Pick her some floweres and put them in a vase.
