Mothers day And dads birthday run on the same day.. HELP?

so i just realized that mothersday and my dads birthday is coming up within the next 2 weeks. ... i have no idea what to get them.

im 19 years old

i was thinking a family portrait and a nice frame to hang in the living room would be a good. but they dont like taking pictures... and i dont know if its possible to even have the time for all 3 of us to have time to go get portraits done before their special day. i am the only child.

im kinda short on cash... no more then 50 for the both of them.

i dont like the common ideas that are used over and over,

ex: chocolates, flowers, cards, chore tickets, gift cards

pretty much my dad no matter what he wants he goes out and gets it, so he doesnt want anything.

my mom never likes what i get her, its my goal to get a good reaction every year, i want this year to be good. so i need help... pleeaassseee. :)

Try personalizing a gift online. There are sites out there that you can personlize gifts with embroidery or printing. I use www.universityfashions. com You could get a monogrammed robe, embroidered apron, or a blouse for mom and a hat, shirt or bag for dad...something to that effect.

Good Luck!

1. A picture of you!

2. A jewelry box if she%26#039;s interested

3. A book if she will like it

4. A surprise party for the both of them (has like no money involved just get close people to them to come my dad loved it!)
Reply:my parents are both hard to buy for as well so as I got older I just started either fixing them dinner or taking them to dinner together.
Reply:why not take them out for a candle light diner, then get them two chains one thats faminine and one that that is musculine with your name on it.
Reply:U can take them out for a dinner or lunch or ice-cream,....
Reply:take them out to dinner.
Reply:Group all her favorite photos. Make your mom laugh and reminisce her glorious days during Mother%26#039;s Day through a photo collage. It%26#039;s also an excellent project for kids. You can choose to come up with your own theme. Perhaps you want to focus on her early childhood days (surely Grandma still has her pictures), her times with your dad, or, most of all, your bonding moments together. When you are already satisfied with what you have done, you can then print your photo collage in a color printer using an A4, short, or long bond paper. Reply:Well, don%26#039;t worry sara. I hope that my ideas will help you and your problems.. which is : buy a watch for your dad and for your mum, maybe a homemade items will do / a handbag. Well if you want, you could buy a shoe or any other things that your father like.. And for your mum, maybe she like to have a necklace / bracelets or any other items that your mum likes.

Well thats my idea and I wish your dad a %26quot;Happy Birthday%26quot; as well.. cya. =)

Good Luck with your problems....
