What should I get my girlfriend for her birthday?

Me and my girlfriend have been going out for 2 months now. and her birthday is rather soon and I want to get her something to show I care. She is seriously the first girl I can say I have ever truely fell in love with I love everything about her and she%26#039;s so sweet. Well I was thinking a necklace, I mean I want to spend in the range of like 100-140 on her but nothing more. I mean we have only been seeing eachother for 2 months but I do care for her so I don%26#039;t want to get something really cheap. I asked her what she would like and she said %26quot;Get me anything I don%26#039;t mind what so don%26#039;t worry about getting anything expensive%26quot; so I%26#039;m like hmmm... I think a necklace and flowers is good. But, what if I get her a necklace and she like never wears it. She always wears a tiffany necklace her mom got her, and I%26#039;ve never seen her wear anything else, and I hate to drop 130 bucks on something that is just going to collect dust. Do you guys have any ideas? Or is a necklace still a good choice?

What should I get my girlfriend for her birthday?
Don%26#039;t get her something if you don%26#039;t think she%26#039;s going to wear it. That%26#039;s just a waste of money, and it will make her feel bad. If you want to go for jewelry, try getting her some nice earings to match her necklace. That way, she can wear both! I know I would appreciate that. Hope I helped! Good luck!
Reply:get some roses and take her out to eat and get her a necklace..........its fun and she will love the attention
Reply:You can give her 3 gifts, they like that. Something really personal is better. Options,

a) A nice modern purse.

b) A nice modern ring, or a bracelet. Forget about a new necklace for this time.

Look for an original design. Do not buy the first thing you see.

Additional to flowers, chocolates or a poem.
Reply:If she%26#039;s always wearing a necklace that her mom gave her, then I wouldn%26#039;t buy her a new one. Your thought that it might sit and gather dust is probably a good one.

Do something simple - flowers, a small stuffed animal, a CD of songs you picked out for her, something like that.

It%26#039;s only been 2 months afterall. Next year, when you%26#039;re together for 14 months buy something more extravagant. Plus, you%26#039;ll know her likes and dislikes better by then, too.
Reply:a necklace is good. or a charm bracelet. she knows you care and love her. dont worry to much.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t get her a necklace if she routinely wears the one her mom got her. Try something not so obvious...a hot air balloon ride, a day trip somewhere she would like, a day at the spa...buying jewelery can make or break a guy. You havent been dating long, and she even said not to get anything too expensive, so the trick is to still spend the same amount, but not make it seem too expensive to her. Men make the mistake of doing the normal gifts like jewelry and flowers and chocolate...make an effort! It will make a big difference in the long run, trust me. :)
Reply:Get her a bouquet of roses, give her a kiss and perhaps get an under $100 silver ring band with your and her name engraved (you can get those pretty cheap) for her. Take it from a girl...she%26#039;ll LOVE LOVE LOVE that.
Reply:its been 2 months.... a card will do, and your not in love...
Reply:Get her a pair of earrings that go with her necklace. It doesnt have to be Tiffany%26#039;s but just as long as it goes with it you should be fine. You could also get her a braclet
