Should I get my ex girlfriend from two years ago something for her birthday?

I broke up with my ex girlfriend about two years ago.


When we were together, I was going through a period of depression, and she was the only person to remember my birthday. She got me a great present too. She was a great girlfriend, but I didn%26#039;t see it at the time because I was having problems at home.








She%26#039;s going through difficult times now (it seems her ex dumped her last month? I just know it was ugly), and her birthday is at the end of the month. I%26#039;ve always wanted to return the favor, even if we%26#039;re no longer together.


Should I get her something for her birthday? I want her to feel better, like she did for me on my birthday, but will it seem like I%26#039;m just trying to make a move on her? We sort of talk online again, so it wouldn%26#039;t be completely out of the blue either.





I%26#039;m thinking of sending her flowers, because I think they could make her day. I don%26#039;t think she%26#039;s received any before, and they seem appropriate for an 18th birthday.

I think that%26#039;s a great idea, but don%26#039;t overdo it with a dozen roses or anything. I would stay away from red roses and get some flowers that say hey we%26#039;re friends

Reply:I think that would be really nice of you, i mean dont make it a big deal. but if you guys are friends and you know she is having problems i know id love to recieve flowers when i am having a rough time from an ex or anyone really. thats really nice of you to remember that and try to repay the favor!
