I need Ideas!!! for my mums 50th birthday?

we are taking her to Spain to celebrate her birthday along with quite a few members of our family but i have no idea as to what gift i could buy her, fed up of the normal chocs, flowers, perfume etc anyone have any great or unusual ideas xxxxxxxx

I need Ideas!!! for my mums 50th birthday?
A 50-page photo album with 50 of your favorite photos of her in it. Include photos of the years of her life that existed before you came along. Like a baby photo, graduation photos, picture of her with her parents, your parents wedding photo, pics of you/siblings as babies with her, other family milestone photos. I think that would be really a wonderful gift to receive.

Reply:Get her a DVD of her favourtie series from time past. Something to remind her of her past. When people reach a mile stone its nice to help them look back at the good things that have happened.

Reply:what about getting all the female members together when you get to Spain and book a spa....nails hair make-up pedicure massage facials...the full hit...all of you can chip in together and pay the fee also have a great girlie day with your mum for her birthday./...THEN take her out for an amazing meal somewhere nice.....maybe buy her a nice pendant as her main gift...jewellery is personal so she will keep it safe and she will love it...

Reply:HOW ABOUT JEWELRY? IF HER BIRTHDAY IS IN MAY THEN HER STONE IS AN EMERALD. TRY A PAIR OF EARRINGS WITH A NECKLACE OR A BEAUTIFUL RING AS WELL. SOMETHING SHE WILL ALWAYS WEAR BECAUSE IT COMES FORM U AND THAT WILL MEAN A LOT FOR HER.

Reply:I purchased a digital picture frame for my mom%26#039;s 50th birthday. I put alot of old pictures from when she was little; some from when we were kids; and alot of other family members on there. She was so touched by seeing old and new pictures; we also took a family picture and framed it for her. We had not had a family picture in over 10 years.

Reply:Find a bunch of old photos from when she was a child and early in life and put together a nice photo album for her. you could even put together a nice slide show for her on the trip.
